Alex Neil were founded over 30 years ago and have accumulated an excellent reputation as Estate Agents in Dulwich, we provide our full range of residential sales and lettings services across the area.
While Dulwich sits partly in the London Borough of Lambeth, it is mostly in the London Borough of Southwark and was previously part of the parish of
Camberwell.
Much of the area is still owned by the Dulwich Estate who have maintained a rural ambience by protecting Dulwich from over development. You can find many green spaces such as Dulwich Park, Dawsons Hill, Peckham Rye and Dulwich Common.
Popular with families, Dulwich has a variety of Victorian houses including mainly three and four bedrooms, three storey terraces and detached houses. There are also large Edwardian detached houses, social housing and a variety of flats.
Whilst lacking a tube station, there are three train stations which provide good
transport links: East Dulwich, North Dulwich and West Dulwich. With the first two providing frequent trains to London Bridge taking around 15 minutes (Zone 2) and the latter roughly a 12-minute trip to Victoria station. There are buses which take you to Tottenham Court Road, Trafalgar Square and Victoria which are useful for commuters.
There are many
schools which include primary and secondary, special schools, religious schools and grammar schools. Ofsted ratings have been generally positive with many schools attaining ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ scores.
The feel of an English village and good selection of family homes makes Dulwich a highly sought place to live. If you’re looking to find out the value of your home, to purchase, to sell or to rent a property then our highly motivated teams would love to help.
