E20 covers the site of the Olympic Park in Stratford
, located in the London Borough of Newham, and is London’s newest postcode. It is also the postcode in the fictional soap opera EastEnders.
In 2012 the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park was built for the Summer Olympics and Paralympics, it contains the athletes Olympic Village, the London Aquatics Centre and the London Stadium.
Overlooking the park is the ArcelorMittal Orbit which is the largest sculpture in the UK. Incredible panoramic views of up to 20 miles across London can be seen, and it also contains the world’s longest, tallest and fastest tunnel slide.
Since the Olympics, the park has been transformed to accommodate for residential living. East Village is set amongst acres of parkland and provides a range of homes. It is closely located to Stratford International Station which has fast connections into central London.
While there are few schools in E20, there are many nearby including primary and secondary, special schools, religious schools and grammar schools. Ofsted ratings have been generally positive with many schools attaining ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ scores.
Great transport links and green spaces makes E20 an attractive place to live. If you’re looking to find out the value of your home, to purchase, to sell or to rent a property then our highly motivated teams would love to help.
