Alex Neil were established in 1984 and have been operating successfully as Eltham Estate Agents providing residential sales and lettings services.
Although Eltham is located just outside of central London within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, it manages to give the impression of being in the middle of the countryside.
Eltham was the favourite home of Henry VIII who occupied his youthful years at Eltham Palace. The original building was bought by Edward II in 1305. By the late 15th century it had become one of the largest Royal palaces in England and home to the young Henry VIII. During the Civil War it fell in to decline and was restored in the 1930s by the Courtauld family. The English Heritage now owns the building, with many rooms open to the public, and the beautiful gardens are well worth visiting.
There is a great variety of green spaces including parks, woodlands, protected wildlife areas, and you can find the Grade II listed Severndroog Castle. There are many shops, restaurants and bars in the town centre, and Eltham’s parks have plenty of sports and fitness facilities.
Whilst not being served by the London underground, transport links
are good with the mainline train taking 30 minutes to reach central London.
There are many schools
which include primary and secondary, special schools, religious schools and grammar schools. Ofsted ratings have been generally positive with many schools attaining ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ scores.
Beautiful surroundings and good transport links makes Eltham a highly sought place to live. If you’re looking to find out the value of your home, to purchase, to sell or to rent a property then our highly motivated teams would love to help.
