Alex Neil were founded over 30 years ago and have accumulated an excellent reputation as SE1 Estate Agents, providing residential sales and lettings services.
SE1 covers a large chunk of central London and its areas include Southwark
, a small part of Bermondsey
, South Bank and Shad Thames. There is an overwhelming choice of places to go for food, shopping and sightseeing, and SE1 is strongly linked to the arts and entertainment industry.
This postcode region is home to one of London’s most famous landmarks, Tower Bridge, built between 1886 and 1894. From the bridge visitors can see incredible panoramic views of London and experience the excitement of seeing London through a glass floor.
Next to Tower Bridge is the historic riverside street and area, Shad Thames, which once had the largest warehouse complex in London. Now regenerated, the unused scenic warehouses have been converted into luxury flats, shops, bars and restaurants. The area is well known for it’s riverside restaurants and the most popular are the Butler’s Wharf Chop House and Le Pont de la Tour.
SE1 has many bus services, cycle routes and stations which are served by the National Rail. The Jubilee line can be accessed from Bermondsey, London Bridge and Southwark Tube stations, as well as Waterloo station, which provides further access to the Bakerloo, Northern and Waterloo & City Lines. Borough, London Bridge and Elephant & Castle also have access to the Northern line.
The many schools offer primary and secondary, special schools, religious schools and grammar schools. Ofsted ratings have been generally positive with many schools attaining ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ scores.
An exciting range of things to do and excellent transport links makes SE1 a highly sought place to live. If you’re looking to find out the value of your home, to purchase, to sell or to rent a property then our highly motivated teams would love to help.
