Alex Neil Estate Agents in SE6 were established as a company in 1984 and successfully deliver residential sales and lettings services throughout the borough.
SE6 covers Bellingham, Catford
, parts of Hither Green
, and is in the London Borough of Lewisham.
Catford is well known for the Catford Cat, a fiberglass giant which sits on top of the entrance to the Catford Centre. Since being built in 1974 the local landmark’s existence has been under threat, however, it is well loved by the locals and has been listed as an item of Catford Public Art to stay.
Changes are coming to Catford though, as Lewisham Council have made plans to redevelop the town centre. The plans aim to include a new retail space at Catford shopping centre, new homes in the town centre, more open spaces and pedestrian areas. Currently, Mountsfield Park offers green spaces with plenty of sports facilities.
The postcode district is served by four rail stations. There are services to Blackfriars and Sevenoaks (from Catford, Bellingham and Beckenham Hill stations) as well as Cannon Street, Charing Cross, London Bridge and Waterloo East (from Catford Bridge station).
For a tranquil route to the Thames, the Waterlink Way is a 12km path that follows the rivers Ravensbourne and Pool through green spaces and parks. It is a wonderful route for walkers and cyclists to pass through, plus, there are many stations along the route.
The many schools offer primary and secondary, special schools, religious schools and grammar schools. Ofsted ratings have been generally positive with many schools attaining ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ scores.
Exciting new developments makes SE6 a highly sought place to live. If you’re looking to find out the value of your home, to purchase, to sell or to rent a property then our highly motivated teams would love to help.
