Canning Town, East London E16 is in the London Borough of Newham on the northern side of River Thames east of Canary Wharf. As part of Royal Docks, the area has obvious maritime connections and heritage, it also has ties to top tier English football.

East Thames Iron Works FC were based in Canning Town and when they folded in 1900, West Ham Utd were formed and their club emblem depicts two crossed hammers. Hallsville Quarter, Canning Town forms part of a £3.7 billion project of regeneration that will see an improved town centre, new retail options along with residential housing.

There is redevelopment of the Rathbone Market area, Canning Town with the Vermilion/Aurelia development taking center stage. Canning Town has enviable transport connections , the Zone 2/3 Station operates Jubilee Line and DLR services to Bank & The City, Stratford International Station, Westfield Shopping Centre Stratford and Canary Wharf. Bond Street can be reached in approximately 19 minutes by Jubilee Line if you are heading west with shopping and entertainment in mind.

When the works are completed Crossrail services will also become another fast commute service from nearby Custom House Station which is adjacent to the Excel Centre.

Canning Town will appeal to many, it’s a diverse area with lower price tags than some of its more expensive neighbours. There are great transport links, a huge regeneration program that will benefit the area and will appeal to buyers and tenants alike.
